Dr. Daniel Gavan was born and raised in the Bay Area. After finishing high school in San Mateo, California his focus would hone in on pursuing dentistry as he had already developed a strong passion for the application of science in healing people. This lead to completing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at UC Santa Cruz. His dental journey would then go on to take him to Boston, Massachusetts where he would train and complete dental school in 2022 at Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Striving for expanding his knowledge and advancing his clinical skill set, Dr. Gavan then completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City in 2023 where he gained greater skills in prosthodontics, surgery and implant dentistry while providing dental care for disabled veterans.
Great dentists are lifelong learners and Dr. Gavan’s thirst for knowledge that may benefit his patients is never ending, as he is constantly participating in continuing education courses. He takes pride in providing comfortable but quality care to all of his patients.
When he is not seeing patients or attending advanced education courses, he loves spending time with his family and friends, absorbing the great outdoors, and passionately following the 49ers and Warriors.
